Default Car Club

The wife and I joined a car club last night. It's called Yankee Yesteryear Car Club (YYCC). There were just over a 100 members attending. Looking forward on meeting the people and joining some of the events this spring.

One of the clubs I belong to has over 100 members and is a very active group. We have a lot of fun, so if you choose to participate frequently I imagine you will too. Congratulations!

A new member joined our club while I've been absent & took on the job of Editor of our "FLYING QUAIL" newsletter. His name didn't ring a bell, (DING DING!), until he introduced himself.
He's an old friend from the mid '50's & was a fellow member in the NOTORIOUS Pan Draggers car club! I called him, "Is the check in the mail"? He even recognized my voice, after 60 years, AMAZING!! "Draggin' the MAIN was ever so much FUN then! I met my future wife, Pat, down there!! We loved tinkering with cars, eatin' GREASY cheeseburgers & chasin' GIRLS! It was just like the "AMERICAN GRAFFITI" movie. The movie was scheduled to be filmed here, but they procrastinated until the street was torn up to make the MALL.

Hey LSJUNIPER when does the club meet? I've seen them at the Woodstock Fair a few years, and always mean to join but never do. The people I've met have all been really cool.
