Can anyone advise if Snyders or others carry a 6 volt epoxy filled coil?? Or Petronix? I need a part number for Petronix that is epoxy filled.
Thanks!!

Found this in my notes from the last time I bought one.
Epoxy filled ignition coils:
6 Volt – Pertronix 1.5 ohm – PNX-40111
12 volt - Pertronix 3.0 ohm - PNX-40611

I'm not sure if any 'A' suppliers will have these, but, they are readily available on-line. Local parts stores may have or get them.

I've had good luck with these, some have said they had trouble.

Thursday night - two days before my local Model A tour, my 1930 came to a complete stop in traffic. I was on an extremely busy city street, with no room to do roadside troubleshooting, so unfortunately my option was a tow. Upon returning to my home (thank you to the tow driver for pushing my car to the garage) I did some simple tests and found the coil that I replaced 3 months ago (made in another country) was testing open. I fortunately had my old Made in USA coil, and when installed started instantly and gave me confidence to attend my event on Saturday. Lesson learned - always keep a coil on hand Just in Case!!

I have a used 1965 Ford coil that I carry as a spare, it's from a 12 volt system that uses a ballast resistor, it works good on 6 volt.
