Default wheel paint

How do I tell original paint on 36 wheels, please? Painted on the inside of the
hub; some runs; no rust pits; no primer; no rub thru on mounting areas.

Seem to recall that they were painted by the wheel provider to Ford by dipping them, thus the appearance of runs on some. The paint used was self priming and did not need primer.

Most wheels should be bead or sand blasted before application of primer and paint. We prefer farming out the job to a local powder coating shop. Looks better and lasts longer than paint alone.
