Default New shoes, '35 pickup, now the drums won't fit!

Yep, the drums won't go back on, the brake linings seem to stick out about 1/16th too much...anybody else had this problem? What is the solution?

Get the shoes arced to fit the drums. I have a friend that has a drum lathe and shoe arcing machine. Probably someone in your area can do that for you.

Look for a shop that services semi trucks. Might need to just back off the settings (your shoes will be off arc). There are delco shoe archers on craiglist sometimes. Be the first person on your block to have one!

If you are a patience psycho you can sand the shoes to fit the drum by hand.
