Ok, I've spent a couple of days here fuddling around and wondering aimlessly it seems. The most important feature that I miss is finding when someone posts a new reply. The thread changes color after I have read it the first time, so I know I have already been there, which is nice, (used to that), but the reply count stays red even after I have read all the reples. A new reply does not change the number count color of replies, so I can't instantly recall if there is a new one there, or if I have read them all. I hope you understand what I am trying to explain, I have difficulty sometimes with words. Also is there a spell check feature that I may not have found yet? Thanks, I am trying to adapt, but my head is so full of other cr*p, I find hard to add more to it! Thanks, Jim Parker Toronto

OK jim spell checker, look for check mark with ABC above it. The problem with it is that it is not part of the forum but rather an add on for Microsoft explorer. I don't know how the other browsers handle it.

If you look at the main page of the forums you will find posts with new entries ib bold. it you look to the left you will find symbols they are defined at the bottom of the page.

New posts

Hot link with new posts

etc.

Also, a thread with new posts will have this icon before the title:

Click that and it will take you to the first post in the thread that you haven't read.

Is there a flag that gets added if you reply to a thread like we see on the HAMB? I find it easy to scroll through the posts and check on a thread I replied to rather doing the "subscribed" deal.

Yep, if you have participated in a thread, the thread icon is green... Here is a legend of sorts:

also, on the right it says who the last post was made by. so if you know who's reply you read last time, this will let you know someone else has replied as well.
