Default 1935-36 Rear fender brace hardwear

What secures the rear fender brace to the fender. I thought it was a 1/4" carraige bolt but both fenders on the 35 and 36 have round holes and the braces have round holes. Is it a 1/4" screw?

I just used a 1/4 bolt on mine. Just bolted my rear fenders on 2 days ago.

Alan,
Pan head, single slot, 1/4 inch dia, NC bolt, 1/2 inch long, with lock washer and hex nut is what I found on my cars. There could have been a flat washer before the lock washer also but didn't find one in my experience. Can send a pix, if I have your email.
