Default Fitting 1934 differential in 1932

I know of a person with a
1932 Ford Tudor and he wants to fit a 1934 Ford V8 Differential into it and he would like to know how much you would shorten the drive shaft to make it fit.

Are the '32 banjo housing the same diameter as the '34?

The easily spotted identifier for the early axles is that the radius arms bolt to the axle tubes on a couple of brackets. (not big ones like 35-36). The brackets are straight to the car center line on 32s and in line with the radius arms on the 33/34.
