Original engine compartment
I am restoring a 1931 Tudor and am interested in some nice pictures of how the original engine and compartment should appear. Anyone willing to share photos or direct me to a site? Thanks

Re: Original engine compartment
Early or late 31 tudor? Late has the indented fire wall.

Re: Original engine compartment
thanks for the photo Mitch… that is a stunning engine compartment. The detailing is incredible. Is that one of your finished projects?

Re: Original engine compartment
I was interested to see that the restorer had to bend back the accelerator linkage arm on the carb side to make it all fit correctly. Guys have commented here before that in the past, Model "A" engines were removed with the accelerator bracket in placed and screwed it up. I was always dubious that there could be such a bend in that arm.

Re: Original engine compartment
Mitch,
I was wondering if you never considered having Lucy, professionally photographed as a learning tool? I mean you have lift etc. It would be very helpful... your build thread is great, but thinking the end result of your 2.5 year effort. Full under shot of the chassis etc... close up of the linkages etc.. Just a thought...
