Default window regulator???

Would a 1940 Ford right door window regulator be the same or work on a 1941 Ford 1/2 ton pickup?

No they are not the same if you are talking passenger car vs pickup.. You can use regulators from the '40-'47 Ford pickups and big trucks that use the same doors. 38-39 pickups may use the same regulator, but someone with direct knowledge will need to answer that question.
