Default 1940 front axle

City: Belleville
State: MI
Price: $200

PENDING SOLD I have a front axle out of a 1940 ford truck that I aquired in a parts lot that I bought. The wishbone was cut in front of the perch bolts and is missing the spring. It rolls fine and looks to be complete. Asking $200
if you send me a PM please list topic and your email if you want more pics. Thanks, Mark
I had the rear end listed but have decided to use it in my car. I will list my other for sale in the spring.

I wasn't sure of the ratio so I went and cleaned the underside and found 3:54 stamped in it. So I clamped vise grips on the shaft and turned the tire two complete revs and counted just over 3 1/2 turns on the shaft. I had a friend explain how to do this and when we were done he informed me this is a kinda rare rear end and I should replace the one in my 40 with this one. Long story short I'm going to keep it and use it. I apologize and will remove from the ad
