Default Model B Flywheel Housing Alignment

Does the Model B flywheel housing need to be aligned like the Model A housing.

I've not found a need on the several that I've restored nor is there any reference to such a need in all the Ford '32 service information that I've encountered over the years, but I'm sure that it wouldn't hurt to do so. Perhaps the change to a full length oil pan and half of a cast bell housing eliminated the need.

It should be done on ALL engines. You may get away without doing it if you are lucky.

Right, even though the subject components have operated successfully together for going on 90 years. Perhaps if the subject parts have to be replaced for one reason or another, okay, but Ford's tolerances weren't that sloppy when these things were manufactured.
