"31 160B Top Molding
Does anyone have a good method for bending the top moldings for a '31 S/W sedan? These are sold in straight sections and need to be formed (the hardway) to 90 degree bends. Do you use heat or bend them cold?

first you need to make a JIG to be able to bend, if aluminum you can warm them and bend them to shape SLOWLY!

I just finished doing mine. Heat with acetylene only, no oxygen until just where you can still hold your hand on it. then wipe off the black soot. Keep weight on top as you slowly bend the arc to match the outline of the curve. Trace curve and lay out on top of plywood.
