Need a little help when checking the OD solenoid I ground the case to the frame works of the car the do I put the neg. or the pos. wire to post a on the solenoid ?

is it 6 volt or 12 volt are you using a car battery?

6 volt pos ground

put the neg wire on the post remember a battery charger doesn’t have enough amps to engage it l always use the battery and like you said ground the case
