Default "Key" item

I have a good friend with a 29 Roadster Pickup.
It has a pop-out switch made in Spain. I do not have the brand name with me.
He has only 1 key for the pickup...and would very much like a spare key.
Any thoughts where a blank key might be found ?
Any help greatly appreciated.

Gil,

I had a repop switch or unknown origin with NO key and took it to a local locksmith. He made three keys $15. Might try that.

As Ted said any real locksmith, not clerk at big box store can make a key. They will not a correct blank but can usually find something close in size,

I have the identical vehicle and Allan from A&L made me the keys based on my description. He sent me two keys that work perfectly. Wayne

BTW IMHO the "made in spain" popouts are a pretty good lock. The trouble with them is you can't get keys for them. The blanks for "made in spain" are not available. I had no luck finding key blanks for them. I sent a key to a key dealer to try to find one for me one time, no luck. I used to restore repro pop up switch a while back. I have a bunch of the keys for the locks numbered 0-9 which are not "made in spain."

I do have some "made in spain" lock cylinders with matching keys, I have five that match and two that match. I'll sell the matching cylinders for $15 each. The lock cylinders can easily be changed out. There aren't many different keys for the "made in spain."
