Keri Keen Trunk Trim Pieces
Need some expert advise on these corner trim pieces shown in the pictures. Not in very good shape to say the least, as is the same with the hinges of the trunk.
Is it possible to re-shape these corners, and use "silver solder" to facilitate repair, possibly by laying and silver soldering a thin strip of .005" - .010" brass shimstock on the inside for reinforcement ? ......Or is it more feasible to locate someone that can fabricate a replacement set, that can then be chrome plated ? The base metal material of the trim pieces are brass. |

I've got a nice set I can mail you if you like. They need to be chrome plated but that's all. Your welcome to them. My email is [email protected] if you want to mail me your address. Hoe this helps.

Kari Keen Trunk Trim Pieces
Does any one else have extra trim pieces that they want to get rid of? Or suggestions on how they can be fixed? The trim pieces that I have are also broken as shown. Thanks, GC |
