Hewe,
NOT tryin' to make you feel bad, but in ALL my years, I've seen Lithium just DRY UP & flake off. It seems to just be a temporary lubricant, for "some" stuff.
HOPE folks don't tire of my postings, I did this stuff for MANY YEARS & trying to help, when I can, makes me feel "USEFUL"----Better than growing OLD & CRANKY---The Dog doesn't like me, when I act that way---

just tried JD corn head in the steering and diff. both leak a drop here and there but doesn't run out. could be also from prior residual lubes working their way out at seals or may have pumped too much in. will give it time to circulate

Yes, because the 600 gear oil ran right out of my steering, so I use this grease and a little 600 to top it off.

Mine was leaking out the end of the steering box by the light switch. I recently installed a new Steering Housing End Plate that has a tube welded to it "that goes up above the oil level to prevent oil leaking". It works great, no more leak, even with 600W in the box.

Should be easy to fab one yourself.
