Default 55 F100 Centerlink

Does the original centerlink (connecting rod tube), that the tie rod ends screw into have any bends in it, or is it completely straight? Also, is the tube hollow all the way thru, or just at the ends where the tie rod ends screw into it? Thanks..

Thanks..I finally was able to remove both tie rod ends. The tube is hollow. I have replaced many tie rod ends, but really never thought about the tube being hollow or not..Funny how that works. My tube has a slight bend to it, but not dented in like I thought it would be if hollow.
