57 speedometer
Hi All,
Anyone know of where to have a speedometer rebuilt for a 57 Ford Fairlane 500 or buy one? Thanks in advance. |

Re: 57 speedometer
Have you tried an internet / google search for dash gauge repair shops?
There are several in Phoenix, but haven't used them since I don't live there. Here are a couple examples... https://www.rsgaugeworks.com/ https://www.dicksspeedotach.com/clas...e-restoration/ I've heard of these folks too... https://williamsons.com/ It won't hurt to contact any of them, discuss what you have and request an estimate. |

Re: 57 speedometer
I recently bought a NOS Stewart Warner speedo for my '54 Ranch Wagon from Speedometer Service in Colorado Springs, Co
https://www.speedoservice.com/ Rusty went through it before shipping it to me since it had been sitting on the shelf for a while. Can't say enough good things about them. If he doesn't have one to sell you I'm sure he can repair the one you have. Worth a phone call, IMO. 449 E Kiowa St, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903 (719) 632-3165

Re: 57 speedometer
Hop over to the 57Fordsforever web site and ask around there.

Re: 57 speedometer
Sorry but I don't have one. It's off of a 55, 56 Chevy.

Re: 57 speedometer
There was a speedometer shop in Michigan - I think - that rebuilt my '54 Ford Mainline speedometer about 15 years ago. They did a great job. I'll look through my receipts and see if I can find the name of the place. In the meantime, you might use the info I've provided so far to google search.
