The Hubcap that you have is for the 1939 Ford Deluxe only. The styling of the Ford Hubcaps changed every year from 1932 to 1940 and later. From 1938 through 1940, there were two hubcaps each year, one for the Deluxe models and one for the Standard models. The above picture shows the 1939 Deluxe (left) and 1939 Standard (right). Hope that this helps. Regards Mercman <><

The only year that an Early Ford Hubcap was correct for two different model years is this Accessory Spyder Hubcap when the 1938 Ford Spyder Hubcap was carried over for 1939 as an Accessory. The Green Paint in this example is not correct. So, the above Spyder Hubcap is correct for 1938 and 1939 Fords.

Continuing on with the subject of Hubcaps, here is a picture of the 1938 Ford Deluxe model and 1938 Ford Standard model Hubcaps. You can see that the 1938 Spyder Hubcap - shown earlier, has the same design as the 1938 Ford Deluxe Hubcap. Regarding the Standard model hubcaps, you will note that on the 1938 models, they show a large V8, while on the 1939 Standard models, the V8 is much smaller. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

I THINK it is a 38 or 39. I have one of them but just one. I also have some 36 hub caps, removed them from a customers car and installed new ones on his car.

MarvinTN, Didn't you look at the previous Posts? This Hubcap is 1939 Ford Deluxe only, no exceptions.
