This jack came with a '57 Ranchero I parted out. I know it is not a jack for a '57Ford of any description........So I'm told. The piece that hooks on to the shaft has stamped into it Front Rear.
The base is 8" X 6" The "Front" "Rear" stamped piece is 10 3/4" X 2" The ratchet shaft is 34" What does it fit? Thanks in advance John I hope these photos are sized where you can easily see them. I've had difficulty in the past getting the size right. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I don't know but judging from the size of the hook I would say its from a 60s automobile with a wide bumper. The rest of it looks like any typical bumper jack.

I agree.......the Hook is the key to what it fits. There are two pivot points on the hook, one for the front and one for the rear, as one can see in the photos. I've had friends guess that it is a 60's era Ford jack, but no one has said exactly what year etc.

If memory serves, it looks just like the jack I had for a 68 Galaxy XL

Could you please take a look at the "Hook" part of the jack you have and see if in fact it has two fulcrum pivot points and is stamped Front and Rear as is the one in my photos.
I would really appreciate it. John |
