Haha! I'm glad I wasn't the only who had difficulty figuring the "mystery" Holley/Ford fitting. My saga...

These are repair fittings, upon a time easy to get NAPA etc.....not on the active here
in Buffalo N.Y. anymore. I'll buy a swap meet 94 if has that fitting on it. The fitting from Mikes is for a flare seal not a ferrule Charlie ny Last edited by Charlie ny; 01-24-2021 at 05:49 PM. Reason: added sentence re Mike |

Yes I need them for a 5/16 fuel line with a flare fitting just like the one in the first picture

If this is what you are looking for, this may help. It is from a Parker catalogue. At my local Napa store (Canada) they said they that deal with Fairview Fittings, but no matter, they should be able to cross reference it to the Parker P/N: 48IFHD-5-4

The part # 48IFHD-5-4 appears to be a male 1/4 NPT thread. 1931flathead needs the male end to be a 1/2-20 straight thread.

You are correct Sal. My apologies as I thought the NPT was just a reference as I know the thread for the carb is 1/2"-20. From the cross sectio pic of the fitting, it shows a straight thread and not NPT. Did some more looking and just cannot find the correct fitting, not even from the Holley website.

What about is using this fitting (46F-5-4), and then inserting the one I previously mentioned? A search on this reveals all sorts of "MacGyver" solutions including retapping the 1/2"-20 straight thread to a NPT.

I found what I needed at part store if some wants the number I have it
A 5/16 brake or fuel line will screw into it |
