Is it routed next to the e-brake cable?

Re: Early 1950 F-1 Pickup
I looked at '49 F5 yesterday afternoon and the speedometer cable is on top of the firewall pad. The cable went along the top of pad to the passenger side and turned down toward the floor along side the heater. There is a hole with a rolled edge about 1" in diameter just below the bottom edge of the firewall pad and above the starter where the cable goes out of the cab and back along the passenger side of the transmission. A '48 F4 I have photos of looks the same and my '49 F4 also has the hole in the same place. I have a '51 F2 parts truck and the speedometer cable hole is on the side of the firewall indention, on the drivers side, about 4" or 5" from the top of the indention. It is also about 1" in diameter and has a rolled edge. The choke and throttle cables may also use that same hole.
