Questions about cigar lighter
On my '41 should the lighter be hot all the time or just when switch is on. Of course I have no power at the lighter at all anytime.

Re: Questions about cigar lighter
Hot all the time. Only the ignition is switched on. The light switch, horn, starter, lighter, etc, are hot all the time

Re: Questions about cigar lighter
Thanks good to know, I did order a new under dash wiring harness from C-G, over the years it looks like the previous owners did some adding and subtracting.

Agree with JSeery. Sort of like buying an old house....you never know what you're going to find when you have to tackle the wiring!!! Replacing the harness is the one sure way of putting it back together the way it's supposed to be and correct with the wiring diagram....for the next guy who owns your car!!
