GEEZE, you gotta' Milling Machine!!! Duz end mills jist mill the ENDS uf STUFF? On "HOW IT'S MADE", we saw how end mills were made, by GIANT machines. How in the world do giant machines make a .021" drill bit??? Ol' Bill lost his in the shag carpet & I found it!!---That got me 2 Dog Treats!!! IF he had to order a replacement, it would probably cum in a 12 X 12 box & a $ 12.37 shipping charge & $2.17 packing fee! Buster T.

Re: They think of everything
Funny, you'd think someone would have thought of this tool before...

Re: They think of everything
I "think" I once read of a tool that puts pressure on the timing pin & goes "CLICK!" when it drops into the indent?????
I once had a whistle that went into the spark plug hole, it changed pitch, as the piston passed TDC. Bill W.

Re: They think of everything
Gregg (RIP) was 6' 6 1/2" & LONG arms, & a very proficient mechanic, but guess who held the pin for him!
He was totally CONFUSED, when setting the timing for the first time???---"Forget all you know about setting up a conventional system"---After finishing, "OH, that wasn't too difficult"! Gregg's Dad

Re: They think of everything
Why not just use a discarded plastic cigar tube with a spring placed inside it? I saw one of these very things for sale the other day, but I forget just which vendor site it was located at. I may have seen it on a video, too, but I don't recall as I have watched so many laterly. I have an old chalk holder that may even work if modified.
LOL! The guy who invented toilet paper probably has someone out at the outhouse looking at corn cobs and saying to himself, "Paper............ Now why didn't I think of that?" :-) |
