Kinda small for fogs if that box cutter is standard size (~6") - maybe cowl lights for non-Model A?

Most likely auxiliary lights, either for the fenders or the cowl - a closer examination of the mounting brackets can help determine which. In either case, they are not standard (or Ford Optional) equipment for a Ford Car. The two probable possibilities are: 1. generic accessory lights for any number of marques; and 2. Factory-supplied lights for a specific marque.

Post #5: ". . . watch out how you sling words around."

"Old guy", "old fart", 'old geezer' - I prefer to think of these words as warm and enduring - much like "Grandpa".

I am not sure that is how of thought of them when I was 20. But at 75, that is how I chose to interpret the meaning.

My grandbabies call me Grandpa or Old Phart. Either is OK by me.

When our "A Team" group gets together they call it a geezer breakfast. Fun and almost nobody misses. The other patrons in the restaurant like it because where can you see 12 to 15 Model A's at one time.

Could they have been used as turn signals? Like how I used Honda motorcycle turn signals mounted on the bumper that will turn up in a box when I'm an "Old gasser".

They look like BOSCH fender lights from the 1930s. Here is the reference from a French version of the era BOSCH catalog:

So yours would be the first ones listed, part: L 75 S 104 "housing black, border chrome, mat glass".

The title states: "SIDE LANTERNS (Position Lights), with mounting bracket for the front fender of the car, for cars and trucks, 75mm hole size, mounted (held in place) with a nut"

It looks like there might even be a BOSCH logo in the center of the lens on your left light in your first photo?

Hope that helps,
Brad in Maryland

Brad, you need to be a detective! After closer look one bezel does say "Bosch Germany" ....yes looks like the other bezel was replaced at some point.

Yep, I'm pretty sure it was Brad who solved the Lindberg kidnaping case.

The Lamps look like 1925-26 Studebaker Cowl lamps.
