28-29 outside door Handle installation

Help I am trying to install passenger side outside door handle.How do I get the door handle shaft to fit into inter door latch square ( This square does Not turn ). Thanks for your answers

Push the handle in as far as you can, then turn the handle 45* like you were going to open the door, then push the handle the rest of the way in. Oil on the shaft helps. If fact lubrication on every moving part helps. Think grease.

Tom, Thank you for your answer. I will put on Handle tomorrow !!! P. S. I could not wait until tomorrow. I put it in just now works Great !!!
