Default 1949 radio delete or ?

I have what looks to be a 1949-50 Ford radio delete plate but it has a cutout in it for a gauge. Its made of metal, can any shed some light on what it is.

I have a round radio head that has cables going to a separate box with tubes in it under the dash in my 36. It looks like it would fit in the hole in your dash plate.

It could be for an earlier dash.

Looks like the '49 '50 delete plate, but must be for the tank gauge for the moonshine option... ..B.
