The issue is not so much about what the viewer actually see's. Of course, higher resolution is always 'nice'.

Its more the fact that the Barn system doesn't accept images larger than 'x'. This requires the poster to resize their photos before attempting again.

Some Barn members are older, and this is a hurdle that many don't want (cant) to deal with. I'm not quite 'old' per se so I can get past it, but is a pain. Kids would laugh at me, I'm sure.

I've been on other forum sites where the image size doesn't matter. The site just resizes the image automatically. Done.

BTW, When folks post their photos, I prefer to have them show as thumbnails only, until clicked. When the image already shows enlarged on the screen, the entire thread becomes cluttered and slow.

If you want to see the image larger just hold the Ctrl key down and click on the + key. To return to normal click on the 0 key (not O'h).
