Default 29 radiator

An acquaintance of mine is having problems with the hood on his 29 A overlapping the radiator shell at the bottom on both sides along with a gap between the rear of the hood and the cowl.. The radiator was re cored and I believe it is too tall. It measures 24-1/2" from the bottom of the bottom tank to the top of the top tank. Does anyone know what it should be?

Sounds like frame sag to me, at the rear motor mounts.

There's a few other things to check for adjustment radiator support rods adjusted ? shims under the radiator supports ? I check a funnel neck 28 and " 24 1/2" inches is what I got leaning across a pile of parts . I've been doing the same thing today .

I'm told that everything lined up perfectly before the radiator was taken out to be re cored.

I took about an 18" piece of flat bar and set it on top of the rear motor mount, parallel to the frame to check for frame sag and the frame looks good.
