Neighbor's Model T
One of our neighbors is having another neighbor build the engines and other gear for his 3 Model T's. Here are some pictures of the current 1910 T in progress. Has quite a few mods, 3 speed tranny after regular tranny, accelerator pedal, alternator, wire wheels, starter, split exhaust manifold to say a few.

Re: Neighbor's Model T
Engine is an earlier engine, but a 1910 did not have a cover over the valve stems.

Re: Neighbor's Model T
You are correct, engine is 1912. Wish there was a way to get the pictures I took of the vehicle in a smaller size to fit the forum requirements as to maximum space allowed. Camera takes pictures at 12.0 Megapixel

Quote:
1. Open the photo in Paint 2. Click on Resize (up top in the menu bar). 3. Adjust the photo size by typing in a % adjustment. You can also do this by pixels, but I find the % option more intuitive. Depending on the size of the original, I generally operate within the 20% - 40% range, but you'll soon find what works for you to generate pictures within the Ford Barn limits. 4. Save the photo with another name ("Save as" option) to make sure you don't permanently reduce your original photo to a smaller size. I usually keep the original name but add something like "(25%)" at the end of the name to show that I've modified the size. 5. Upload the smaller version of the photo via the Ford Barn process. In the example I've documented, I started with a 417 KB photo, adjusted it to 25% of original size, and ended up with a 15 KB photo. The photo size is shown down the bottom of the Paint screen. Don't worry that 15 KB is not 25% of 417 KB! Just find the % reduction that works for you! |

Will put the pictures in another posting. The engine is one that Dick Headmon (Headmon Header's fame) is building for Bob Bennet's T racer. Bennet has 3 T's plus numerous other vehicles including a 1912 Cadalliac Touring, a 1910 Buick Touring Car, a Marquette( one of two in existence and all original), a Reo, a Pierce Arrow, an '37 Auburn and many other older and muscle cars. |
