'32 Headlight Bar..Could it Be?
I have a '32 headlight bar, with the stainless for the center bar. I have a few, and all have the SS clad over the steel bar with a folding line on the under side. However, I have one that has the center bar solid SS. The forged ends are definitely original Ford and not a repop style. The ss bar is perfectly arched and welded to the end pieces. The is no hole for the V8 emblem. I keep thinking that someone made a great job making a 'perfect' curved center bar...but...it is too perfect.
Is it possible that initial production headlight bars had the solid ss center...and going afterwards with the clad application for obvious cost saving purposes?? Very curious on this....Robert |

Sounds like an original style bar made years ago by Deuce factory
