Default MMO & a V8 &1/2

G.M. is spot on as far as MMO; We drove our 41 V12 over 2000 miles
in the past month ; noisy lifters upon our return . 8 oz. of MMO and 10 miles of driving ALL OK. I will now add to every tank of gas

Same problem when I acquired my 47. I think previous owner let the car sit in his collection too much. Valves a little noisy and had what sounded like a minor engine knock. Added a small amount of MMO in the oil and gas and it all went away. Best cure was and is driving the car often enough.

MMO is truly a magic elixir; I've been using it for almost 50 years. However, I believe there is no better treatment, to remedy a Flathead of what ails it, then to drive it.
