To anyone that will be there today/tomorrow. Please comment on the vendor/swap meet turnout. Don't really want to go given the weather but I will if there's a good chance I can find parts I'm looking for.

Will do Ryan. Planning on it and over the years we have done really well. One of the better meets in this area. We like gas & oil stuff and there is still a lot of it at Rhinebeck.

What kind of parts are you looking for? I have some Model A stuff, but hesitate to bring it. I may have to leave early tomorrow...

We went up today, a little under 2 hours each way. Fun break, and rains let up so it was dry 10 to around 3 at least. Fields wet, big crowds but frankly lots of junk. Some A stuff but all we found were a couple smalls and a nice, framed photo of a coupe in front of a speed shop, looks like late 50s. Honestly given more rain is coming in, I am not sure I would make the run tomorrow, at least from our distance.

I just checked with the Albany, NY weather and they are forecasting only 20% chance of rain tomorrow. If I wake up and it's not raining, I'll go....

Frank, a huge plus Sunday is the show. Hope weather co operates for anyone looking ar this event tomorrow. For me each year is bittersweet. The biggest event we attend pre Hershey and a rite of Spring. On the other hand, less good parts, books, gas and oil each year. And some of the best vendors you look forward to are no longer regulars. Still beats sitting home...

Not sure if it's true but I head they closed the fairgrounds yesterday due to flooding... needless to say I didn't go. Maybe next year... although this is the 3rd year in a row I've said that.

emf, I was looking for a good used short nose generator armature and a few other odds and ends.

I'm not sure what a short nose armature looks like... I have a few of those 'odds and ends' myself.
