Chief built a SEMI from a cut off ESSEX sedan, with a Model T engine & trans & an ESSEX trans, installed assbackwards, behind it!! It could climb ANYTHING & even pull over TREES! NOBODY would challenge him to a pulling contest, for $5.00---Its' primary job was hauling COTTON to the Gin in town.

My grandpa had an Essex that he used to haul gin to the mill in town. Coincidence?

I "think" an ESSEX was noted for havin' a REALLY LOW rear end ratio???
