Re: Which manifold to use
I picked up a real nice set of 48's at the Early Bird Swap Meet last Saturday and a Thicksun PM7 off Craigslist. Started the install this week.

Re: Which manifold to use
you could get rid of your carb altogether. just run your fuel lines directly into your manifold and you pedal would be hooked up to a petcock with a bell crank on it, controlling gas flow, when you rev it up, it opens the petcock more. UPDATE! UPDATE! THIS WILL NOT WORK! DISREGAUARD THIS COMMENT! honestly I got pm'ed by someone who was going to try it. maybe.. DO NOT TRY!

Re: Which manifold to use
Just going to add my 2cents worth. This applies to the slingshot setup on a small 221 standard cam. Its very noticeable that it needs heat to work, mine doesn't run very well until the engine comes up to temp [its painful!]. Im not that convinced that its any better than a single carb either. In fact I'd say in most aspects the single carb would be a 'faster' setup, most certainly in traffic.
