Default Was your Model A built in Jacksonville?

oh boy. just what I need, another project to distract me.
today we confirmed the identity of another Model A assembled at the Jacksonville plant.
that's only 5 that I have personal knowledge of. 4 here in town and a 5th in WV.

so, I have decided to start a registry of Jacksonville-assembled cars.
(good Lord, are we getting as statistics-obsessed as baseball fans?)
our local club's webmaster has agreed to make it accessible on the Jacksonville Model As web page.

if you have a Jacksonville car, please send me the following:
your name
your city & state
year & body style of your car
photo of car (optional but desirable)

I'll announce here when it is posted on the web page.
jaxmodela.com

for more information about assembly plant numbers, including where to find them, go here:

Hi Chris, My 1929 Std. Coupe was made in Jacksonville and sold in Miami. My car spent her life in the Miami area except for 3-4 years in Ohio in the 1950's. I currently live in Atlanta, Georgia and my name is Tim Adair.

Look at the cross member under the floor board in front of the front seat, there should be a stamping and a number

not a dumb question at all, but one I (sort of) answered in my first post- go to the link at the bottom of my original message for the full answer that I was too lazy to retype :-)

I'm pretty sure the body number is the number built so far for that body style because I also have a 9-27-28 Phaeton that is TC and a very low number. Not many people wanted an open car in a cold state. My 2-23-29 Tudor has a body number TC and a quite high number.

Thanks. Andalusite Blue. It looks blue in the sun and black in the shade.
