Default wheel color

Hello everyone. I am about to have the wheels on my 31 A powder coated.
The car is a two tone green. I think its called copra and another variant of green. The wheels are an off yellow color someone told me was called wheat?
I am not sure if they may be faded from age or uv rays and such. The powder
guy is not familiar with model A colors. I dont want an extremely bright yellow
color. This is not a concourse restoration. Just a simple refresh of an original A. I do see the same color combination on a coupe with black wheels for
sale on the Hamb site. It looks ok, but I am tending towards the yellow.
Any information or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Mickey, My '30 Town Sedan is Elkpointe and Kewanee Green with Straw wheels. I think it is also know as Tacoma Cream? I believe my green(s) is darker than your Copra tho if that is what you have.

The 2 tone green is most likely Elkpoint and Kewanee green. Wheels would be black or Tacoma crčame

You just can't beat black, 'cause it will look like it came from the factory.

I believe Straw or Tacoma Cream would have been an optional wheel color. Straw is a just little more toward yellow than Tacoma Cream.

My opinion,

I think you are correct Chris. I think I misspoke. Mine are Tacoma Cream now I think about it.

The booklet I have also shows Apple Green, which is way to bright for my liking.

Contact ModelAWheelColors.Com and tell them you are wanting the Cream color powder coat for x amount of wheels. I did mine about a year ago and they turned out awesome. The lady that answers the phone knows exactly what you are looking for and how much you need.

Thank you. After looking at the hue on your wheels I believe mine are in the original color and have not been refinished. The coupe has what I believe is the original paint and the wheels seem to reflect as original as well. I will check
out the company.

That is a good looking A sedan. The wheels appear to be the same color
but in better condition. Thanks.

I know very little concerning powder coating. The coating service I am
working with did ask me if I knew a specific color? The code you have posted
may well be just what he is looking for. Thank you, that is most helpful.
