Default Canopy top for pickup bed

I recall seeing some plans for a pickup bed canopy top in the past, but can't locate it. I believe this included working drawings for the brackets. I think I could cut the brackets on a water jet out of 16ga or 18ga steel and bend them.
Here is a photo from the DeAngelis book " The Ford Model A as Henry Built it". The Restorer index has a listing in 1971, but I don't have that issue in my collection.

Talk to Jim Spawn. I gave him a drawing that he used to cut out some brackets.

I made mine from a light wood frame covered with plywood. Its very light and quite roomy. I even slept in it once (I am 5ft 7" )

Here's some pictures of the bracket I made for mine a few years ago. Need to put it back on my truck. Canopy top is under the bed in the spare room.

Tried to upload pictures of the one I made but can't. I think the file is too large. How do I reduce the size of a jpg file

Video? These were just jpg pictures. I did it finally by sending them to myself in an email.

Finally made my wife happy and removed the canopy top from under the spare bedroom bed. Here are some pictures of my take on the picture in the factory photo in the "Model A Ford as Henry Built It" book.

I gathered every photo I could find of various canopys. I combined several ideas I liked and came up with my own design. I've really enjoyed my canopy. It draws a lot of attention.

The article from The Restorer will not help much. Here it is. The author was Vernon W. Vogle.
