Default start a new thread re pic

regarding my inability to 'submit' a photo to Ford Barn, the 'shrunk' pic is available. I 'upload' it when I click 'upload'. the file appears in the upload space but disappears in a flash. 47kb. other attempts= name of file is too short, must be over 3 characters. I try 12, 15, 29 characters= same response. Another response= file is not recognized.

I'll hire a computer programmer.

What format are the pictures in? (JPEG, etc.) Is it one of the several that are listed where it shows the acceptable picture sizes?

Hi Pat,

As I said in my private message to you a few days ago, I'm willing to help you by remote controlling using the program TeamViewer; walking both of us through the steps on your computer, with the two of us on the phone.

My recommendation is to not give up. I am not a programmer and dont want to be. But I did have our son teach me how to do this picture reduction, storage and loading thing years ago.
Its like falling off a bike once you learn how.
Again dont give up. get a cup of coffee and keep punching buttons. Your very close.

That thing about the file name with not enough characters may be the amount of text you need to insert in the body of the post before or after the picture? Or maybe not?

Rebuilding a Ford 4 cyl might be easier, but we want to see you and your pictures.

Regards,
Chris

Pat, are you sure it disappears? Doesn't it show up below the stack where you can put the file names. See photo.

If you got this far, all you have to do is close the upload window (close this window in the red bar) and click submit.

Just for grins, what is your computer setup? Are you on a desktop/laptop or a tablet/phone, is it Windows or something else, and which Windows version (search and run the program ABOUT).
