Default Dupont Centari Acrylic Enamel

My 39 year old paint on my Forty I have owned for 60 years needs some touch up. It was painted in 1983 with Dupont Centari Acrylic Enamel single stage the wet sanded and buffed. My problem is Dupont sold out 10 plus years ago and the paint materials I need for a perfect match are no longer available from any retail paint supplier. I am hoping that my Ford Barn Friends have what I need tucked away in their garage or have a lead to where I can find.
This is what I Need:
One gallon 99A Dupont Centari Pitch Black.
Two pints 793S Dupont gloss hardener and activator.
One gallon 8022S Dupont reducer.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks Tom.

Wish I could help but having the same problem. Painted my F1 in 1983 with Dupont Centari 1977 Lincoln Dove Grey. Have not been able to match it.

Be happy you didn't paint it with 99s diamond black acrylic lacquer like I did mine.

Centari with the hardner is easy to spray, lasts for many years
keeps it's gloss. 43 years ago and is just like I did it last week.

I dispose of paints that are more than 10-years old if they have separated to the extent that they can no longer be mixed to a smooth consistency. I would go to a local paint supply store that handles automotive and/or aerospace paints. Find one that has a good reputation for matching colors.

Centari with the hardener basically made an acrylic urethane coating out of acrylic enamel. Exalta still has single stage urethanes and PPG likely does too. I've used both Concept and Imron elite types as well as Sherwin-Williams. Acrylic urethanes generally go on easier than poly-urethanes but either one will work OK with experience.

I've bought Black Centari from those guys several times; last time was about a year and half ago. Seems to me I've heard that black is the only color they make now-a-days. Of course all that could have changed like a lot of stuff has changed over the last year.

I try to edit for my spelling mistakes but I don't always catch everything. One thing I do catch is that I miss the old stuff from Dupont and PPG but I'm afraid that it will eventually all be gone in favor of paint materials that I don't really care for much or the cost will be so high that I won't be able to afford it.

The Imron 400 or 3500 are available but very expensive and hard to source unless a person lives in a big aviation manufactureing environment.
