Default Craigs List find

My son answered a CL for some F3 stuff. The guy had a lot of goodies mainly
59A. stuff. nice complete hood 50 bucks brand new rt F3 fender 50 bucks.
Then out side upsidown a late EAB 239 he said it was froze up ok 75 bucks.
Didnt take me long to bare bone it. Amazing no cracks ,std cyl, std perfect
crank, cam looks as new pretty clean in there. valve seats perfect. But somebody did try to turn it so its got some broken ring lands so it will be a
set of std pistons/mains and rod bearings look good, but I have FMog. bearings in stock. crank measures standard dead on. Im thinking this may have been an early take out, for a back then a typical Buick Nailhead or something. thought I'd share this amazing find.

Great find big job! I found one a few years ago and it turned out to be perfect as well. Mine was a 53 Mercury all original. It's being built at this time. Good luck with yours.

That is so neat when things work out. My 53 merc engine still had the original 53 rod bearings when I tore it down, now turned 10/10 bored 30 over. Good luck with your project.
