Re: SignalStat 900 photos
Another thing to do is to add a buzzer to the flasher. Radio Shack sells a "pezio" buzzer that is small and will work with 6 volts. I put on on each of my cars because I don't want to be that old man with his blinker on.

Re: SignalStat 900 photos
The Signal Stat 900 that I got from Sacramento Vintage has worked just like it should for the last 3 years since I put it in. I now have LED lights on the rear, didn't have to change anything with the flasher.

Re: SignalStat 900 photos
I know this is an old link, but that's ok.
Does anyone have directions for the signalstat installation using the cowl lamps as the front directionals and the original rear lights as rear directionals? Also, where are you guys adding an extra ground wire to? I would hate to scrape away paint on the steering column. |

Re: SignalStat 900 photos
I don't know if I have directions any more, but, wiring the cowls or rears is no different than wiring other lights.
I run the unit ground thru the loom [ old type woven] down the column along with the rest of the wires to any good ground. If you have issues with flashing I find a NOS or good working 535 works just fine. New flashers are pure junk. |

Re: SignalStat 900 photos
Here a copy of the wiring. I am unable to upload the installation instructions. Send me a PM with your email address and I will try to send it that way. Supergnat

Re: SignalStat 900 photos
Patrick, yes it is, I just completed the 6 to 12v swap and added AC!
I was out a couple of days ago for a 117 mile AIR CONDITIONED tour in this 90 deg. heat and the interior of my Fordor was in the 70's! My Wife has never been so happy to tour in the A. Me too as I do not do well in the heat. Not for everyone but if you have ever considered it, do it. Easy job, Ken Davis kit. Did it all myself with my Grandson's help. |

OK, good. I'm glad to see the flasher worked. I didn't think it was for 6v though. Just didn't want anyone thinking it was is all. |
