Crab distributor Coil and condenser
I had seen that for a crab get 52-1902 coil and FA49 cond. got them a NAPA got home had the FA49 and IC7 coil coil say no External Resistor required Is that what I need to run and by pass the resistor under the dash or go back change for another one. Thanks

The napa #ic7 coil is a internally resisted 6 volt coil and happens to be a good one, you would not need the under dash ressitor with this coil.
The FA49 condensor is for a 37-41 helmet NOT the crab. Crab condesnor is a FA54 and cap and rotor is cap=FA65 and FA64 rotor . Suggest buiying cap and rotor at same time then filing a bot off the rotor tip to prevent hitting.... Glad to help... Last edited by BUBBAS IGNITION; 07-20-2016 at 08:23 AM. |

Yep its internally resisited and dont need the resistor....Thanks Ken
And we do know theirs NO resistor in the coil , the primary winding is would to have 1.5 ohms resistance in the winding itself....... |
