Default Crab distributor Coil and condenser

I had seen that for a crab get 52-1902 coil and FA49 cond. got them a NAPA got home had the FA49 and IC7 coil coil say no External Resistor required Is that what I need to run and by pass the resistor under the dash or go back change for another one. Thanks

The napa #ic7 coil is a internally resisted 6 volt coil and happens to be a good one, you would not need the under dash ressitor with this coil.

The FA49 condensor is for a 37-41 helmet NOT the crab.

Crab condesnor is a FA54 and cap and rotor is cap=FA65 and FA64 rotor . Suggest buiying cap and rotor at same time then filing a bot off the rotor tip to prevent hitting....

Did you intend to say Internal resisted not External??

Yep its internally resisited and dont need the resistor....Thanks Ken

And we do know theirs NO resistor in the coil , the primary winding is would to have 1.5 ohms resistance in the winding itself.......

Will got what I could done the IC7 coil and I had an FA54 runs better than it has in a good while cap and rotor won't be in for 2 3 days.
