1936 Ford Hydraulic Brake Conversion Kit

This is a brand new mechanical to hydraulic brake conversion kit for a 1936 Ford that has never been installed on a vehicle.
I ordered it for my Club Cabriolet because I was having trouble getting my mechanical brakes to operate safely.

The kit was custom built by the V8 Garage in CA. They have built 100s of these kits. By the time the kit was manufactured and shipped, I diagnosed the issue with my mechanical brakes (new rods and over-sized rollers), so the need for a braking upgrade was not as important.

The kit includes everything necessary to convert the mechanical brakes to hydraulic, and is ready to install.
Master cylinder, wheel cylinders, shoes/linings, formed lines, brake lever pedal adapter, hoses, clips, rear backing plates, etc all included.

Reproduction front backing plates are not available for a 1936 Ford due to the bolt pattern and wheel offset. The backing plates for a 1939-40
Lincoln have the identical offset and bolt pattern. They are very rare but I found a pair and they are included.
The backing plates have been primed and painted satin black.

The components will also adapt to a 1935 Ford. I'm not sure about the backing plates.

The kit is installed with nearly no modification to a stock 1936. As I remember, only a 1/4" hole needs to be drilled in the frame with this configuration.
The car can be reverted to mechanical brakes by reinstalling the original parts.
The kit is contained in 5 boxes plus a bundle of formed brake lines. Shipping of these items will be expensive.
Picking the parts up is much preferred but shipping charges would be extra.
