Default Is this a Ford color?

Anyone know if this is a Ford color? If so, what is it?

Or maybe someone knows who owns this car.

Might it be M-1758 Bright Coach Maroon? I am no paint expert. It is listed in The 1937 Ford Book. Am thinking of painting my sedan delivery that color.

Impossible to tell from a single photograph. Ford did offer a maroon color in all of the pre-WWII years and beyond, with the two best-looking ones being light fast maroon (a '36 spring color) and Mandarin maroon (1940?). The rest tend to be somewhat muddy looking with hints of brown. True maroons, reds, and purples are more expensive to produce as gold is used to kill the brown.
