This is a 1937 ford producers pin....what does it mean? and what is it worth? are they very common? Any help would be much appreciated thanks

Such pins as that were given at regional sales meetings as lapel pins for salesmen. There were a number of varieties, the maple leaf shows it to be Ford of Canada, the stars signified the degree of performance the salesman had attained.

Alan pretty much nailed it. It was a 30's District sales promotional tool that Ford used to stir up sales. See a copy of the U.S. pin attached below.
