A pit is tight when you want to do things like transmissions, especially if you need to use a trans jack, with the prices of lifts I went with two Bendpacs. Use one for storage mostly and the other as a working lift... A long way from that rail lift I used over 50 yrs ago!

The radius ball was assembled with the springs inbetween the plates, so we pulled the cotter sand fixed it.
