Wood floorboard steel supports.

Are the tubular rivets that come with the pair of steel floorboard supports easy to install and peen? If not a judged car do most use just a woodscrew? Same with the transmission/brake handle cover hold downs.

the rivet setting tool is the same as for brake lining rivets. i would check with a local club and see if you can barrow one from them. or you can make your own rivet setting tool out of a punch. it will not be pretty but it will work.

Well I appreciate the rivet help but I think this mornings experience with fitting just the boards may answer my own post or question. The boards are so hard to put in place that I cannot imagine using the supports will help but only add to the issues. I wish they hadn't drilled the holes some line up some don't but I could have used transfer punches and drilled my own.
