Default 1931 Steering Wheel

I am filling the numerous cracks in the steering wheel. It is the first time I have used JB Weld, a very good product. I will be shaping the repairs soon and I would like some suggestions on how to cut the four circular lines on the wheel, maybe using a Dremel. Thanks, Ed

Can you use a flat board and bore a hole for either a wooden dowel or a pipe that has the same size as the steering column hole. Then use that as an axis to spin the wheel on. Now make a steady rest out of some blocks to clamp onto the board where you can spin the steering wheel slowly while the grinder grooves a uniform slot.

Brent's advice is always sound. This was discussed here in this thread.
