I see a lot of bodies available on craigslist, just put Model A in the search and then check the in search title box only after the first search comes up. Change city locations around where you live to search.
Here is an example of what I found.

Consider a Brookville body.

Build a speedster. Go to NWVintage speedsters and you will see pictures of all types and kinds.

Did you get a title? If not I would check with state DMV for rules for obtaining a title. If the owner of the body kept the title, you may have a problem.

He shouldn't have a problem if he has the frame or engine number, check your DMV, seems every state is different. Some states don't require a title, only a bill of sale depending on the year cutoff date.

You can consider a Brookville body, I did but by the time I paid shipping and top and interior etc, etc I had $12,000 in it not counting my labor. All depends on the body style you want, tudor bodies probably are the least expensive, coupe bodies the highest. Speedster bodies used to be available new made by Rootleib but you will end up with a model a that isn't worth a lot in the end . Keep checking Craigslist and and others, concentrate on restoring the chassis first.

Brookville only makes the Model A Roadster car and Roadster PU bodies. They are well made and not too bad on price.
